Meta Description or Meta Tags plays a important role in your overall ranking and blog SEO. It is also a very big factor about SEO point of view. Without this, the “Click Through Rate” is very low and if you not know about this SEO technique, then you also face this problem. In the previous article, i’m write an article of adding a meta description to every single posts in blogger. So in this article, I’m getting to tell you, how to easily add SEO Meta Description into your blogger blogs.
With adding this into your blog homapage, your online visibility will increase in the SERP’s eyes. If you have a blog and write an articles on regular basis, but your ranking not increased then it is not the search engines fault, basically it is your fault. If you not use META TAGS / DESCRIPTION into your blogs or articles, and you can write a very long, informative, attracting and unique article, then remember that your ranking did not increase because search engines wants and recommended you to add this meta tags into your blog posts or meta data description.
Meta Tags also sometimes called Meta Description which you can adding to your root domain and also add every new published posts separately. It is very important and recommended.
Adding SEO Optimized Meta Description To Blogger
Step 1 – First of all go to blogger.com and sign in to your blogger dashboard.
Step 2 – Select your blog and go to the “Setting” tab.
Step 3 – After clicking on the “Setting” tab, many options open, you can simple select the “Basic” setting option from them. After that , you can see on the right side , a description will be show. Simply click on “Edit” button and adding your blog and niche / topic related information which is visible in the SERP’s on every visitors who search on the search engines.
Step 4 – Now here in this box, adding the SEO optimized Meta Description here and click on the “Save Changes” button . The description will not be more than 150 characters.
Step 5 – After adding this, simply see on the left sidebar options, and go to the “Search Preferences” link.
Step 6 – After clicking on the “Search Preferences” a right side option open, simply click on the “YES” button and a Description link open.
Step 7 – Now click on “Edit” link and a box open where you write the Meta Description of your blog.
Step 8 – Now add here your blog and niche related Meta Description which is not exceed from 150 characters. Because in SERP’s only 150 characters will show. And normally add the same description as you entered in the basic setting time.
Step 9 – Now click on the save changes and after some time, in the search engines, your blog will be shown in that format. See below :
