Unlock Bootloader Of LG G6

• Create an LG Developer account on their official website for free.
• You need two main things to Unlock Bootloader of G6. First will be your phone’s IMEI number and device ID.  To get the IMEI number, you need to type *#06# in the dialer and you will find your LG G6 IMEI number.
• To get device id of LG G6, Go to installation directory open ADB folder and open the command window.
• Connect your LG G6 to the PC and reboot your device. Enter intro Bootloader Mode by entering below commands,

adb reboot bootloader

• Again type the below command

fastboot oem device-id

• Once you enter the above string, you will get the device ID of LG G6 device. It will look like this,

$ fastboot oem device-id
(bootloader)-----------------------------------------------------------------
(bootloader) Device-ID

• Now you need to paste together the 2 lines of output into one continuous string without “(bootloader)” and any spaces between them.
• It will look like this,

• Visit the LG Developer website and Log in.
• Click on the Start Unlocking the Bootloader option.
• Enter the required details like name, email ID, IMEI and device ID.
• Then Select ‘LG H870‘  from the drop down of the ‘Phone‘ menu and click on‘Confirm‘ option and proceed ahead.
• Now again enter the below command in command prompt,

fastboot flash unlock unlock.bin

• Reboot your device and enter the below command,

fastboot reboot

• That’s it! You have successfully Unlock Bootloader of LG G6.
