Zenfone series has not been able to sell much despite creating a buzz in India. Despite the average response, ASUS launched Zenfone Go 5.5 in India. The model number of the device is Zenfone Go 5.5 ZB552KL and it is available in two colours which are Charcoal Black and Sheer Gold. The device is exclusively available on Amazon India.
The device looks like mid-ranger but on paper, it seems like a great performing budget device. It is powered by 64-Bit Quad-core Snapdragon 410 clocked at 1.2GHz featuring 4 ARM Cortex A53 cores. Snapdragon 410 is pretty old and not-so-powerful chipset.
It features 5.5 inches 1080p full HD display. The device has 2GB RAM and 16GB internal memory. The device runs on Asus’ ZenUI v3.0 which is based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It features 13-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel front camera.
The device is 11mm thick, (to be precise it is 10.95mm thin) and weighs 168 grams. Even though the device is quite thick and heavy still it has only 3,000mAh battery which is low compared to many other devices from competitive brands like Xiaomi.
Asus has priced the device at Rs. 8,499 which is quite high few other devices having similar specifications. Indeed, there are few smartphones available with better specifications at bit more price or even at similar prices.
Asus has not announced when the device will be available for purchase on Amazon India. The phone carries a price tag of INR 8,499 (around $130) and has been made available in Charcoal Black and Sheer Gold colour options. The Zenfone Go 5.5 variant will be available exclusively on Amazon India from tomorrow, 12th May.
Price seems bit high compared to specifications of the mentioned device. What do you think about the device? Will you buy Zenfone Go 5.5 at this price? Let us know your thoughts in comments down below.
