What you get with the DreamUX ROM
The DreamUX ROM is developed based on the Galaxy S8’s ROM and it gives you all the features of Samsung’s TouchWiz UI – the TouchWiz Home, Weather widgets, SBrowser, Music player, Video player, Video recorder, the fonts and sounds, etc. This ROM is based on the C9000ZCU1AQC2 firmware with Android 7.0 Nougat. Requirements/Notes
- Make sure that your device is at least 50-60% charged.
- This method only works for Samsung Galaxy S5. Do not attempt this on any other phones.
- This process will also erase all files on the phone, make sure you perform a full backup before proceeding.
- You will also lose the current ROM (Stock or custom) that is already installed.
- You need TWRP recovery installed.

Steps to Install DreamUX Galaxy S8 Ported ROM on Galaxy S5
- Download the ROM zip file from the link above and transfer it to your phone’s internal storage
- Turn off the phone and boot into recovery mode by pressing and holding Power, Home and Volume UP buttons simultaneously.
- When inside the TWRP recovery, perform a nandroid backup first.
- Then go to Wipe > Advanced Wipe and wipe Dalvik cache, cache, data and system.
- No, choose Install option in the recovery screen and select the downloaded ROM file. Flash it.
- After some time, the installation will complete.
- Reboot your device. That’s it.
