Facebook has been withdrawn its Free Basics Services from the nation India. It could be happened , after the country’s telecom regulator banned discriminatory pricing for many different data provided services on Feb 08 2016. The decision has been a huge setback for the whole company , which has been promoting the Free Basics as a “Free” platform to connect Indians to the internet through an extensive campaign.

The Free Basics Services has no longer available for the people of Indian, means a Facebook spokesman said that, This decisions comes from the Official resources and it is taken after an huge announcement by its telecom partner Reliance Communications Services, that Free Basics would be a paid platform now.

To be the fully compliant with the new rules and regulations announced by Trai, RCom has already began the process of re-configuring access to the Free Basics Services, , from the free regime into a chargeable services, as per the existing data plans for the all customers in indian a Reliance spokesman has also said this.

On Monday, the CEO ( Cheif Executive Officer ) of Facebook Mark Zuckerberg has also said that while he was so many “Disoppointed” by this decision, because our company mission continues. In a Facebook official post, he wrote that it was a “committed to keep working to break down barries to connectivity in India and also all around the globe. He also said that” Connecting India is an important goal we won’t given up, because more than the one billion users of Indian don’t have fully access to the internet services.
