• In the root of your SD card, create a new folder named dload and place the update.app file in that folder.

• Select Software Upgrade and open SDCard Upgrade.
• Then, select the update and run it.
• Wait till the installation is complete and reboot your device.
• Now you need to download the second file we provided above. Get the update_full_hw_USA.zip for Mate 9 and unzip it.
• Go to the dload folder we created before and delete all its contents including the update.app file.
• Copy the contents unzipped from the update_full_hw_USA.zip to that location.
• Dial *#*#2846579#*#* like before to open up the hidden menu. Select Software Upgrade and open SDCard Upgrade.
