LG V30 design leaked; shows slide-out secondary display. LG tried to do something different with LG V10 and LG V20 in terms of screen. They both has a secondary display at the top. The secondary displays were OLED which saved a lot of battery life but didn’t add much in terms of usability and features. LG is expected to release the successor of these two devices; named V30 by end of this year. The upcoming V30 might do something very different in display department compared to V10 and V20.
Popular leaker Evan Blass has leaked renders of an early version of LG’s vision for the upcoming V30. This device has a large primary display and a slider with a secondary touch display. This looks like took inspiration from BlackBerry Priv and replaced the physical keyboard with a secondary touch display.
It should be noted that this is just an early concept and final design of LG V30 may not like same as the design leaked recently by rumors.
Technically LG V30 may have with two independent screens, with the secondary one sliding out to become more interactive in nature. LG has not made this deign final and there are chances that this current design may not make to the final design of the device because the phone will become thicker and bulky and no one would want a thicker device with smaller battery inside which has to power two screens.
As of the now it just a concept and shows how far LG has gone in research and design of displays. Nothing about LG V30 has been finalized by LG. The previous report has suggested that the device may launch in September this year. But it doesn’t seem true as nothing about the device has been finalised.
Google announced in I/O 2017 that LG’s next-generation flagship smartphone will be Daydream compatible. Rumors have suggested that it could be V30. The device may come with an OLED screen, Snapdragon 835 processor with 6GB RAM.
