Nikon is one of the most popular camera manufacturers out there and yesterday they added a new camera product on to their lineup. The latest Nikon camera is called the Nikon Coolpix W300 and is a point and shoot camera that features a rugged built and is waterproof and dustproof.
The Nikon Coolpix W300 features a 16MP camera sensor that is capable of shooting Ultra-HD and 4K resolution videos. Being a waterproof camera model, the Nikon Coolpix W300 can also take images even when emerged in water for up to 30m.
The Nikon Coolpix W300 is also dustproof and is capable of shooting videos in temperatures as low as -10 degree Celsius. Apart from its waterproof and dustproof features, the Nikon Coolpix W300 is also extremely tough in terms of built quality. The body of the Coolpix W300 is shockproof and can survive drops from up to 2.4m in height.
Talking about the camera sensor, the lens used is a NIKKOR bright wide-angle zoom lens that gives stunning images even in low-light and underwater. The macro mode that is featured in the camera is capable of capturing perfect close-up images.
The camera also features support for QZS, GPS and GLONASS thus making it easy to geotag images and save locations of where the images are taken from. The Coolpix W300 also supports SnapBridge, which allows you to automatically sync the images shot on your Coolpix W300 with your Smart device as you shoot them and also allows you to control and shoot on your Coolpix W300 remotely from your smart device.
Talking about the availability of the Nikon Coolpix W300, officials have stated that the camera will be initially available in the US and UK markets starting this summer for a price tag of £389.99 or $500. In India, the Nikon Coolpix W300 will cost around 30,000 INR.
