OnePlus 5 to come with Dual camera
An image revealed by India Today suggests that the OnePlus 5 may feature a dual camera setup. It was stated in many rumours but now this image confirms it. It will come with the dual camera. The cameras are arranged one below another and the flash is below the cameras. The back which is showed in the image also shows the brushed aluminium back panel. Also, there is no fingerprint sensor on the back (at least according to the image). This means it must most probably be on the front below the screen or on the sides with any buttons.
Other than that, the antenna lines are all the same in OnePlus 5. The brushed aluminium back is similar to the OnePlus 3T Midnight Black edition. And the curved edges on the back with the brushed aluminium finish adds more premium feel to the device. It is also expected to come in black, grey and gold colours. The phone will also run Android Nougat based OxygenOS.
OnePlus 5 Specifications
Based on previous rumours, we can say that the OnePlus 5 will feature a 5.5-inch 2K resolution display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset and a 3,000 mAh battery. It will have at least 6 GB of RAM (Some rumours state that it will come with a gigantic 8 GB RAM) and will come with two variants with 64 GB and 128 GB internal storages. Of course, none of these specifications and information is officially confirmed. So we cannot say that this is final or real. We can at least assume it will close to these when the device is launched.
OnePlus 5 Price
Since we don’t even know about the real specifications of the device, the price is still unclear. We have to wait till the official announcement of the device to know anything about it. OnePlus 5 will be priced aggressively just like its predecessors. We can say that it will bring the specifications of a phone like Galaxy S8 at the price similar to the Xiaomi Mi 6. India will be an important market to OnePlus as it was all these times and they are keen on bringing out the best phone at a competitive price.
Latest Update: OnePlus 5 confirmed, releasing this summer
“Some people think we have the best product while some think we have the best product at a given price. This caveat is something I don’t want. We just want to create the best products. Period. No caveats,” Pei had told India Today tech. “We don’t want consumers to see the price of the phone”. – Carl Pei, co-founder of OnePlus said in an interview.
So although these specifications and things are not final, the image provided may get some tweaks from OnePlus, we will get the final information in the official announcement which will happen in the next two months.
