Smartron T5525 spotted on GFXBench. Recently, Smartron launched the srt.phone. The device was a mid-range offering from Smartron which is giving a good competition to the current mid-range devices from brands like Gionee, OPPO etc. However, it seems that the company has started working on a flagship-grade smartphone.
The device was spotted on GFXBench website with the model number, T5525. Unlike previously launched srt.phone, T5525 seems to be a more powerful device with better internals and better specifications. The device is not going to be a flagship killer, rather it will be a premium mid-range device.
According to the GFXBench website, the device is running on Android 7.1.1 Nougat. It is going to have 5.5″ 1080p Full HD display. The device will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 SoC which is having octa-core CPU with cores clocked at 1.4GHz. Graphics duties will be handled by Adreno 510 GPU.
Interestingly, the device is having huge amount of RAM which is 6GB of RAM, but GFXBench shows that the device has only 16GB of internal storage. There is no information available on other variants with higher internal storage capacity. Also, it is not clear that the device will have support for expandable storage via micro-SD card slot.
Talking about camera department; the device has 12MP rear camera which has flash, auto focus also supports 4K video recording. On the front, the device has 5MP selfie camera.
