Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 specifications leaked. Qualcomm announced Snapdragon 835 a few weeks ago. There are only a few devices launched by the smartphone manufacturers which are powered by Snapdragon 835 as of now.
Qualcomm has already started working on a successor to their current octa-core flagship SoC and rumors are suggesting that it will be named as Snapdragon 845.
Recently released, Snapdragon 835 is an excellent SoC which provides great combination between performance and power efficiency but Qualcomm is planning take it one more step ahead with the announcement of Snapdragon 845.
Snapdragon 845 will be an improvement over Snapdragon 835, especially in terms of processing and power efficiency. It is said to feature newly announced A75 and A55 CPU cores announced by ARM.
Recently, ARM announced their new set of CPU cores named as Cortex-A75 which is meant for delivering best possible performance and Cortex-A55 which is designed for great power efficiency while providing good performance.
Snapdragon 845 will be an octa-core SoC with custom designed Kyro CPU cores which will be based on and will include 4 Cortex A-75 cores for performance and four Cortex-A55 for power savings. It will be built using Samsung’s latest 10mn manufacturing process.
