Vodafone, a popular network provider company is not so popular for launching smartphones. But, recently Vodafone launched three Affordable Smartphones. All the devices are from a new series called ‘Smart series’.
The name of the devices is Vodafone Smart N8, Smart V8, and Smart E8. All the devices are budget Android smartphones which will be available at affordable price. Let’s have a look at the specifications of these devices.
Vodafone Smart N8 features 5″ 720P HD display. It also has a fingerprint sensor. The device is powered by a Quad-core Mediatek MT6737 which is clocked at 1.25GHz. One good thing is, the device runs on Android 7.1 Nougat.
The device has 1.5GB of RAM and 16GB of Internal Storage. It also supports micro-SD cards up to 32GB. It has a 13MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture and dual LED flash. There is a 5MP front camera for selfie lovers. The device is Vodafone exclusive smartphone and the price starts at 4.5 euros/ month on contract.
Smart V8 has better specifications. It has 5.5″ 1080P Full HD display. It is powered by Snapdragon 435 SoC clocked at 1.4GHz. It has 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. It also supports micro-SD cards up to 128GB. It has a 16MP rear camera and 8MP front camera.
All the other devices also have decent specifications. In the Indian market, it will be very tough for Vodafone to complete against Xiaomi and Samsung in the budget segment. Because these two brand is dominating the budget and mid-range smartphone market from quite a long time.
